The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is closed for winter break from 4:00 p.m. EST on December 19 through 9:00 a.m. EST on January 5. We will continue processing applications for admission and receiving mail deliveries throughout the break. Our response time to individual emails over the break will be delayed, so please review the following information carefully.
We understand you may be curious about the status of your application. We will begin offering application status checks in early-January. On your applicant portal, you will be able to check the most up-to-date status of your application and complete most of your required application items. You can use your applicant portal to upload new materials, request changes to your file, and eventually see your admissions decision.
All official application documents can be submitted through the Common Application Recommenders portal, via email by a school official to admissions.docs@nyu.edu, or by mail.
We are also happy to use unofficial transcripts and test scores in the application review process. You can upload these documents using the "upload" tool at the bottom of your applicant portal.
For any questions about filling out the Self-Reported Transcript and Academic Record System (STARS), please consult our website. STARS has also compiled videos with instructions for how to fill out the STARS on YouTube. You can access your STARS through your applicant portal. If your question is not answered there, contact STARS support directly by clicking the "Help!" link in the upper right hand corner of your STARS account. If you cannot get into your account, please email support@scarletcs.com.
