GSTEM: Online Data Science Course

The GSTEM Program at NYU’s Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences is excited to offer our online Data Science Course for Spring 2023. Course details can be found below:

Course Dates: January 31, 2023 – April 25, 2023
Lecture Days/Times: Tuesdays from 7:00 - 8:30pm (ET)
Lab Days/Times: Students will also need to enroll in a weekly lab section and may choose between a weekday evening or weekend morning
Tuition Rate: $2,000 

If you are interested in being considered for this course, please fill out the below application by December 15, 2022. In addition to two essays, students must also submit a copy of their high school transcript starting with Grade 9. Transcripts should be current through Spring 2022. A list of your Fall 2022 courses should be included as well.  Unofficial copies are acceptable (as long as they are eligible).

Note: The application must be completed in one sitting. To avoid losing your work or having the application time out, we highly recommend preparing your responses to the essays prior to starting to fill out the application. You can do this using a word processing software or type it out in an email and copy and pasting your typed responses into the application page.

Please also be aware of the following Eligibility Requirements:

• Juniors and Seniors only
• Math prerequisites: Must be taking or have taken Pre-calculus (or its equivalent)
• Computer Science prerequisites: Must have taken or be taking AP Computer Science Principles (or an introductory computing course)
• Not open to international students (Only those already in the U.S. on an F-1 student visa)
