This year’s summit will focus on inclusivity in our messaging, and the responsibility we all share in breaking down stereotypes, removing barriers to access, and amplifying stories of traditionally underrepresented students through our communications. Together we will analyze how we balance communicating the reality of our diverse environment with how we boldly live up to our values. The event will culminate with a keynote address and Q&A with writer James McBride, author of the New York Times-best selling The Good Lord Bird, and the number one-bestselling American classic, The Color of Water. McBride was awarded a National Humanities Medal by President Obama “for humanizing the complexities of discussing race in America.” A full program agenda is available on our website. Upon registration, you receive a confirmation email with a Zoom link.
