Summer Math Program for Young Scholars

NYU continues to closely monitor developments related to COVID-19 and adjust University policy accordingly. As a result and in alignment with our obligation to safeguard public health, all NYU 2020 summer programs and courses being offered will be conducted remotely.​​​​​​​

Program Information
The Center for Mathematical Talent (CMT) at Courant Institute
 is excited to welcome applications for its fifth 3-week, non-residential Summer Math Program for Young Scholars. Academically strong applicants coming from underserved communities are especially encouraged to apply. 

Program Eligibility
This program is open to current high school students who:

  • Are currently in grades 9, 10, or 11
  • Have completed Algebra I with a B- or higher
  • Are domestic students or international students who are already studying in the US on a student visa

International students who do not already have student visas are not eligible for this program. NYU offers other programs for high school students that do admit international students. Please visit their website for other options.
