College Connections Virtual Family Sessions: College Readiness (Session 1)

College Connections is a middle school outreach program creating a pathway from middle school to all different types of higher education (e.g., public, private, liberal arts, HBCU, technical, community college, etc). The family sessions introduce parents and guardians of middle school students to the college research and application process, by sharing information and strategies to implement at an early age that will support students through their journey to higher education. 

We're kicking off the series with an introduction to the college preparation journey designed for families and caregivers of middle school students. This session highlights why early exposure matters, and shares practical ways families can help their students build strong habits both inside and outside the classroom. Families will leave with a clearer picture of how middle school is the perfect time to start cultivating motivation and engagement that will prepare and support post-secondary success.
