International Qualifications

As a global university, NYU will review applications in the unique context of each student’s national or regional curriculum. With our flexible testing policy, NYU accepts many examinations and qualifications from around the world to fulfill our standardized testing and proof of high school graduation requirements. Some of these tests are offered across many countries (i.e. the IB Diploma and A-Levels) and others are country-specific.

Please use the tool below to learn about country-specific requirements and testing options. You may be eligible for admission even if you are not taking a standardized test that is listed below.

NYU considers the validity of application material and documentation to be of the utmost priority. Please see our Application Authenticity policy here. If you have questions, please email admissions@nyu.edu.

If your educational system is offered in multiple countries, it may be listed under a different country than the one where you currently live (generally it will be under the country where the testing agency or authority is based).
