What Students of Color and Their Allies Need to Know About Mentorship

The program aims to provide participants with knowledge and know-how on how to access meaningful mentorship; foster relationships with professors and supervisors; and utilize those relationships to progress into advanced degrees and professional seniority. Our esteemed speakers will explore this content specifically through the lens of identities historically underrepresented in the academy and will highlight strategies for overcoming the challenges therein. Participants will have the opportunity to network with peers over breakfast and connect with faculty and administrators from across NYU.
